I have always been fascinated by colors and so I started with watercolor painting.

I took courses with various instructors, including some forays into acrylic and oil painting. When my brother gave me a small box of pastels one day, I was immediately captivated by the vibrant colors.
My “revelation” was a first pastel painting course in 2006. More followed, including one with Astrid Volquardsen.
I simply love painting with great attention to detail and fine detail, and at the same time I enjoy experimenting with the inexhaustible possibilities of pastel painting.
